Cindy Cyr: Designing a Life of Purpose, Passion, and Adventure

Cindy Cyr’s story is a powerful reminder that life after 50 isn’t about slowing down—it’s about stepping boldly into the dreams we’ve been waiting to pursue. With courage, creativity, and an adventurous spirit, Cindy has crafted a life filled with meaningful experiences, personal growth, and deep connections.

After leaving the security of corporate America, Cindy fearlessly built a thriving writing career, working alongside some of the most legendary minds in marketing, including Zig Ziglar, Dan Kennedy, and Donna Krech. She even co-authored No B.S. Marketing to the Affluent (Third Edition) with a respected mentor—a dream she had long envisioned. With over 2,000 pieces of writing to her name, her words have shaped narratives, inspired audiences, and helped businesses grow.

But Cindy’s accomplishments extend far beyond her career. She has checked over 70 incredible travel experiences off her bucket list, visiting 36 countries and 46 U.S. states—all after the age of 50. She has prioritized her health after battling challenges for over a decade, made breakthroughs in overcoming lifelong self-limiting beliefs, and embraced new ways to connect deeply with friends and family across the country.

One of her most cherished achievements is helping her father find joy again after the devastating loss of his wife of nearly 60 years. Cindy also finds fulfillment in crafting deeply meaningful gifts, like the one she finally created for her stepson after 14 years—only to hear him say, “This is the most meaningful gift I’ve ever received.”

Her home is a reflection of her love for nature, as she has transformed her entire yard into a thriving space of native plants, nurturing beauty and sustainability. And perhaps one of the most remarkable parts of her journey—Cindy has created an epic love story after divorce. She and her husband, Frank, have built something truly special, a love that has flourished for over 21 years and is still growing stronger every day.

Cindy’s story is about saying yes to life—to adventure, to creativity, to love, and to the courage it takes to remove the blocks that hold us back. She is proof that no matter where you’ve been, there is always time to design the life you dream of.

Her advice? “Don’t wait. The dreams you’ve had since your twenties are still possible—you just have to start.”
